1. Who we are

Lindakazi ("we", "us") operates a marketplace connecting customers with independent skilled professionals in Kenya. Lindakazi is not the employer of providers listed on the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter binding contracts under Kenyan law to use Lindakazi. Providers must comply with all applicable licensing and tax rules.

3. Account responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

4. Bookings and payments

A booking is a direct agreement between the customer and the provider. Lindakazi facilitates matching, communication, and payment processing but is not a party to the underlying service contract. Fees and payout schedules are disclosed at the point of booking.

5. Prohibited conduct

• No fraudulent, unlawful, harassing, or unsafe behaviour.
• No off-platform payments arranged to avoid Lindakazi fees or protections.
• No misrepresentation of identity, qualifications, or credentials.

6. Verification

Providers may be asked to submit identity and professional documents. Verification status is a trust signal, not a legal guarantee.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms or presents a safety risk. You may close your account at any time.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lindakazi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
